Our oral surgery practice is looking for a motivated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team of surgical assistants!
This is a full-time (hourly, non-exempt) position for our Bristol location.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday 7:30-2:00pm
Location: 1 Medical Park Blvd, Suite 440E Bristol, TN 37620
Who you are:
You are an RDA/CDA with experience in a dental office.
You are an individual who has developed strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Your excellent verbal and written communication skills mean that you work well in a close team environment.
With your strong grasp of professional appearance and attitude, along with your superior customer service skills, you have learned how to multi-task without losing your cool.

What you will do:
- Preparing patient for surgery
- Ensuring all general anesthesia prep has been completely successfully
- Taking panoramic X-rays & 3D scans
- Checking all documents for accuracy
- Ensure solid communication between patient and doctor
- Monitoring vitals during surgery
- Passing and assisting for procedures
- Accurately completely operative report
- Explaining post-operative care
- Sterilization of surgical equipment
- Strict adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and OSHA regulations/procedures
- Other duties as assigned
